How would I go about changing the color of the scroll up arrow button (the button that appears in the bottom right side of the page when you scroll down and causes the page to scroll back to the top when clicked)? I would like to alter the color both when it is seen and when the mouse pointer is hovered over it. Thanks.

Please try the given code..sm-up-container { background-color: #ef0084; color: #2d7121; }

If you see my website at http://www.woodbinedental.com and scroll down you will see the “scroll up” arrow is green which is fine. When you hover over the arrow it turns black. When you take the mouse cursor off it turns green again. I would like the arrow to stay exactly the same green color no matter if the mouse cursor is hovering or not. How do I do that?
Also if you now click the up arrow and then scroll back down to look at the color of the arrow, the background of this button is now clear. The green color has disappeared. To get the green color back, if I click anywhere on the page such as a blank area, it will turn back green again. What do you think is the problem?
When I tried adding the code you gave previously, it turned the button pink but did not change the behavior of the color turning black when hovering over it.October 17, 2018 at 9:46 pm #36884warnerleeParticipantI was also just checking out the Medical Circle theme demo at: http://www.acmethemes.com/demo/?theme=medical-circle. In that demo the arrow is a white color with a blue background. When you hover over it, the background turns black like my site but little up arrow turns blue so you can still see the arrow in the black background. Now when you click the arrow and then scroll back down to look the color, the arrow itself is now blue with the clear background instead of back to the original white arrow with blue background. If you then click on a blank area on the site the color reverts back to the original. Is this supposed to be the behavior?

Please insert the given code in Additional CSS.
Dashboard->Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS.sm-up-container:hover, .sm-up-container:focus{ background: #81d742; }
