Wordpress shows me submenus behind the scene, but on the page every submenu is considered a regular menu. This changes is from 6 to 17 menu options. If sub menus aren’t allowed I have to switch themes.

This picture is of the WordPress structure on the backend. This structure was being used with the previous theme, but currently is not being used by the theme
