How do I know what the featured image sizing is on the home page? I want to create images the correct sizing so that it’s showing the whole image, just not a portion of the image for the posts on the home page. I’m creating a newspaper style site and thought I’d reproduce the images in monotone and in the correct sizing to view properly.
I didn’t want to use the plugin for correcting the images but upload images that are the right size. Thank you.

The recommended image size for featured image size is 1920 x 1280 px.

I’m finding that images are being cut off on the home page and I’d like to make sure they are the correct sizing for the thumbnail for the home page. I’m happy to upload the correct proportions and tag them as the featured image, I just want to make sure I have the correct size.

There no other way to resize featured image. You have to manually resize the image. Recommended size is 1920×1280. But for Thumbnail you can adjust the height. Please add the given CSS code in Additional CSS.
Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.no-sidebar .masonry-item { height: 325px; }
Best Regards!

I just wanted to make sure I had the sizing correct so the photos show in their entirety on the home page, not truncated versions.
