I installed Acmeblog free theme and created my website sdbontempi.it with no problems, uploading a logo 1050×190.
After a while I wanted to change it slightly, so I uploaded the new one to media and went to customize -> site identity -> logo and changed it, but what happens now is that before publishing the theme obliges you to crop it! And even if I extend the cropping line to the whole image, it is published cropped!
How can I decide to publish a new logo with its original sizes?July 15, 2016 at 3:03 am #6541acmethemesKeymasterHello mikemarco,
Thank you so much for using our theme AcmeBlog.
1. The recommended size for logo is290*70
, so please make the logo with this size and add it.
2. You can change he logo size fromacmetheme/core.php
file, you will find the code forcustom-log
, you can change the height and width there.
3. Please try the one method and if not worked, try once by making the width of logo to 100%. Have a look here for details.

What surprised me is that only from a certain point on it works like that: the first time I costumized the logo it just uploaded it the original size and only later on it started forcing the crop. I’d suggest cropping would be only a suggestion, and to leave a ‘Keep the original size’ button available, or at least indicate how to change recommended sizes (now it’s not recommended, it’s forced).
Anyway, thank you very much for availability 😉
