    I want my wordpress site index to be a static content page and now the content I have on there on that page does not appear.

    Here is the page (should have some text with 3rd party opt-in form. This all worked fine on the free version.

    Hello Patton,
    Thank you so much for using our theme Corporate Plus.
    To make the static page Go to Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page and select the page for your front page.

    No I already did that..that’s why it worked on the free version. I figured out the problem. There was a widget activated on the static home page on the pro version preventing my content from appearing. I deactivated the widget and all works now
